DROPWEBS
GBP Growth Audit

A diagnostic score you can trace to evidence.

Growth Audit runs a structured check across your profile and review data and returns a Dropwebs diagnostic score. Every point is traceable to a check you can read, and the formula is printed on the page.

The problem

Most "audit scores" are a number with nothing behind it.

You have seen the tools: a dial spins, it lands on 62, and no part of the interface tells you where 62 came from or what moving it would require. Worse, the number is usually implied to be a Google ranking score, which it is not, because Google has never published one.

A score you cannot reproduce is a score you cannot act on.

Hidden weighting means the vendor can move your number whenever they like.

Presenting a private score as a Google ranking is misleading to you and to your clients.

Without evidence, you cannot tell a real problem from a padded finding.

What Dropwebs does: Growth Audit runs structured checks on profile completeness, review health, and response habits using data synced from your Google Business Profile.

The score

One number, and the arithmetic behind it.

The audit returns a Dropwebs diagnostic score with the weighting laid out beside it. It is labelled on the page as a Dropwebs score and not a Google ranking score, because that distinction is the whole point. Run the same data twice and you get the same number.

The checks

Fifteen or more checks, each with its evidence.

Profile completeness, review volume, rating distribution, response coverage and recency each contribute. Every check shows its status, the data that produced it, why it matters, and what to do about it. Nothing scores against you without telling you what it saw.

Prioritised recommendations from a Dropwebs Growth Audit

Priorities

The two things worth doing this week.

A list of twenty problems is a list nobody works through. The audit ranks findings by priority so the top of the page is the short version: fix these first, and here is why they came out ahead of the rest.

How it works

From connection to result.

01

Step 1

Select a location and run the audit.

02

Step 2

Review critical and high-priority items first.

03

Step 3

Fix issues in Google or in Review Manager.

04

Step 4

Re-run the audit to track improvement.

What it gives back

A defensible answer to "how are we doing?"

Reproducible

Same inputs, same score. No drift, no vendor magic.

Client-ready

Every finding carries evidence, so it survives being questioned.

Comparable over time

Re-run after changes and see which checks flipped.

Honest by construction

Labelled a diagnostic score, never a Google ranking.

How to use it

Your first run, step by step.

01

Step 1

Open the location and run Growth Audit.

02

Step 2

Start with NEEDS ATTENTION items marked high priority.

03

Step 3

Use Profile Optimizer for profile gaps and Review Manager for unanswered reviews.

04

Step 4

Re-run after changes. Unavailable checks stay unavailable - we never invent evidence.

Limitations

What this tool cannot do.

This is a Dropwebs diagnostic score. Google does not publish a ranking score and Dropwebs does not model one.

The audit reads only your connected profile and review data. It cannot see search impressions or competitor internals.

A high score means your profile hygiene is good. It is not a prediction of traffic or revenue.

Questions

Straight answers about gbp growth audit.

What it does, what it will not do, and where the data comes from.

Is this Google’s score?

No. Google does not give Dropwebs a ranking score. Ours is an operational health metric.

How is the score calculated?

Weighted completeness, response rate, average rating, volume, and recency. See Accuracy Rules for the formula.

Is this my Google ranking?

No. It is a Dropwebs diagnostic score, and the page says so directly. Google has never published a public ranking score for Business Profiles. Anyone showing you one has invented it.

Why did my score change when I did not touch anything?

New reviews change review-based checks: volume, rating distribution and response coverage all move as customers post. The formula does not change, the inputs do.
