How to read themes from your own reviews

Sync reviews, open Intelligence, and verify every theme against source comments. Counts are calculated. Themes only appear when there is enough text.

Before you start

What you need in the workspace.

  • Without synced reviews there is nothing to analyse. Short “Great!” comments often are not enough for themes.

Sync, then open Intelligence

Totals and rating mix are calculated in code from stored reviews.

Read sentiment language carefully

Language labels describe the text you stored. They are not a Google ranking factor.

Themes grounded in review text

Step 03

Open source reviews for any theme

If a theme appears, click through to the reviews that support it. If you cannot find those comments, ignore the theme.

Step 04

Act in Review Manager

Unanswered items still need replies. Intelligence does not publish for you.

If it does not work

Check these before you assume the tool is broken.

  • No themes usually means too few text-bearing reviews, not a broken page.
